PRIVACY NOTICE

How BeeFind handles personal data.

This notice explains the personal data BeeFind uses to provide a private research workspace, protect the service, and support the features you choose to use.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Plain-language summary. BeeFind is a business-research tool, not a data broker. This page describes the product as it operates today; it is not legal advice. If your organisation has specific legal obligations, obtain advice for your own use of the service.

Who this notice is for

This notice applies to people who visit BeeFind, create an account, use a workspace, request support, or receive an outreach message sent by a BeeFind member. “BeeFind”, “we”, and “us” refer to the operator of the BeeFind service.

Members remain responsible for the business purpose, content, recipients, and legal basis of the research and outreach they create in their own workspace.

Data we collect from members

When you create or use an account, we process identity and account information supplied through Firebase Authentication, such as your email address, display name, account identifier, and email-verification status. BeeFind does not store your raw account password.

We also store the workspace content needed to provide the service: search briefs, selected location and category, result and source context, saved history, exports you initiate, plan and search-allowance status, account-review status, and private notices.

If you choose to configure outreach, we process sender settings, campaign drafts, recipient addresses selected by you, delivery status, unsubscribe/suppression state, and limited delivery metadata. Optional SMTP credentials are encrypted before storage and are not returned to the browser after submission.

Public business information

BeeFind may process publicly available business information used in a member’s research brief, such as business name, public address, public website, category, published business email address, published phone number, and an evidence or source link.

Where a public contact detail is kept, the product is designed to keep the page context that supports it. We do not use login-only pages, collect private account content, or use personal contact enrichment for the workspace research flow.

How we use data

We use account and workspace data to authenticate members, operate private history and exports, enforce allowances and security controls, maintain source context, provide optional outreach features, investigate abuse, and communicate service-related notices.

We use reduced network information only for security and abuse prevention. The application reduces an address to a network prefix and creates a keyed fingerprint; it is not designed to keep raw IP addresses in the application database.

Service providers and disclosures

BeeFind relies on infrastructure providers to operate the service, including Vercel for serverless hosting, Firebase Authentication and Realtime Database for identity and server-side data persistence, Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise through Firebase App Check for abuse protection, Jotform for the optional on-site chat assistant, and optional email or discovery providers selected for enabled product features.

reCAPTCHA Enterprise evaluates browser interactions to help distinguish legitimate use from automated abuse before Firebase-backed services are accessed. Google processes the information required for that service under its own terms and privacy practices. The BeeFind application does not receive a visitor’s reCAPTCHA score.

If you use the chat assistant, the messages and information you enter are processed by Jotform to provide that conversation. Do not enter account passwords, payment details, secret keys, or sensitive personal information into the chat.

We share data only as needed to run the requested feature, meet a legal obligation, protect the service, or respond to a valid security incident. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.

Retention and deletion

Workspace records remain available while the associated account and workspace are active, unless a feature has its own shorter operational lifecycle. Security and delivery records may be retained for a limited period when necessary to prevent abuse, honour unsubscribes, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

You can delete an optional sender connection from the outreach settings. For account-data access, correction, or deletion requests, contact the service operator from the email address connected to your BeeFind account. We may need to verify the request and preserve minimal information where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Your choices and contact

You can review your signed-in account information in the workspace and sign out at any time. People receiving an outreach message can use the unsubscribe link in that message; the address is then added to the sending member’s suppression list.

For privacy questions or requests, use the contact method made available by the BeeFind operator. Please include the email address connected to the relevant BeeFind account and a clear description of the request. You can also review our data-use details and cookie notice.

Updates to this notice

We may update this notice when the service, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before the updated practice takes effect where practicable.
